今天非常忙，也很好玩。

其實我再次很早的起床。開電腦，上網，讀信息，想修哪一門課，彈吉他。。。都是一般的事情。但是差不多下午十二點就意識到的時間。我快快的走，去上我第一的門課。這門課時工業工程科，主題是logistics。那門課我遇到了非常厲害的老頭兒學生。他叫高宏華，差不多六十歲。已經有兩個博士degree,現在打算得到多一個。。。Orz。。。我不要說他不少的秘密。但是他很豐富。他說明他的生活經驗，他的關繫好像不會數。教授說【有關係就沒關係，沒有關係就找關係】。。囧。好像，成功的程度完全是關係決定的。哎呀，遭了。

下課以後我去看一個UIUC博士在土木系。他叫Rex。他非常對我很好，問我OK嗎，當我的顧問，至於請我去吃晚飯。他也付錢！我們吃了日本咖喱，非常好吃。我從來在台北還沒付出七十元的一餐，但是這次的餐三百多元！

然後我去the WALL看兩個臺灣樂團。第一的是boyz and girl，另外的事orange grass。覺得挺好。我沒想到我會跟兩個台大交換學生。一個是北京人，他叫Josh，他在北京的D22【HELL YEAH】開演出，樂隊名字是hot and cold。另外的交換學生是Max,他是從Texas。演出結束了以後我們一起跟boyz and girl的兩個吉他手一起去吃飯。我今天跟很多人打交道，覺得很好玩。明天也去看ZAZEN BOYS。。。囧

today i once again woke up real early. turn the computer on, get on the internet, read some news, think about what classes to take, play some geetar...all ordinary stuff. but around noon i realized the time, and quickly went to my first class. the class was an IE class, about logistics. there i met a dangerous old man (student too). he was called Gao Hong Hua, about 60 years old. He already had 2 Phd's and is getting another one now. I won't reveal his many secrets, but he is HELLA rich. He talked about his life experiences, and his connections are unlimited. The professor said, "if you have connections, no matter. if you don't have connections, find some" (an english translation does not do this phrase justice, because theres some play on the words here). It seems like success is determined by connections. Aiya, DIU.

After class, I went to see a Phd graduate from UIUC's civil engineering department. His name is Rex. He was really nice to me, asking if I was OK, volunteered to become my advisor, and even got me dinner. He even paid! We ate Japanese curry, it was sooooooooo good. So far in Taipei, I haven't spent more than 70 yuan (like a bit over 2 USD) on one meal, and this meal was over 300 yuan (a bit over 10 USD).

Afterwards, I went to THE WALL to see 2 taiwanese bands. the first was called boyz and girl and the other orange grass. I thought it was great. I also never thought I would meet two exchange students from NTU also. One was from Beijing, named Josh, and he actually performed at D22 [HELL YEAH] as Hot and Cold. The other was named Max from Texas. After the live, we went with the 2 guitarists from boyz and girlz to go eat. Today I met so many people, it was a lot of fun. Tomorrow, I'm also going to see ZAZEN BOYS... 囧
